Four members of The Go-Go’s—Charlotte Caffey, Belinda Carlisle, Kathy Valentine and Jane Wiedlin—wowed audiences at Broadway’s new musical Head Over Heels July 12 with a surprise curtain call performance. (The Go-Go’s fifth member, Gina Schock, was unable to perform while recovering from an injury.)
The Go-Go’s joined the cast of the musical, which features RuPaul's Drag Race star Peppermint, Jeremy Kushnier (Paramour), Rachel York (Disaster!), Alexandra Socha (Spring Awakening), Andrew Durand (Spring Awakening), Taylor Iman Jones (Groundhog Day), Bonnie Milligan (the national tour of Kinky Boots), and Tom Alan Robbins (The Lion King). The quartet sang “Our Lips Are Sealed” and “Head Over Heels."
