The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is a New York holiday tradition. For 92 years, people have braved the winter weather in the early hours of Thanksgiving morning to gather along the parade route in Manhattan. The 2018 parade promises not to disappoint with 16 giant character balloons, 26 floats, marching bands, dancers and cheerleaders — and some of your favorite Broadway shows!
Not to worry; even if you’re not in NYC — or if you are but you don’t want to brave the crowds and the cold — you can watch the festivities from home! NBC will be airing the parade starting at 9AM ET Thanksgiving morning, featuring performances from the casts of Mean Girls, My Fair Lady, The Prom, and Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, as well as the Christmas Spectacular Starring The Radio City Rockettes.
If that wasn't enough, King Kong and Dear Evan Hansen will be joining the fun with pre-taped performances on CBS.
Be sure to tune in November 22nd at 9AM ET to catch this year’s festivities!
