Spring Break On Broadway

Broadway Inbound

Woooo! Spring Break! It’s a time for students to enjoy a little downtime from their studies, and it’s happening across the country right now. Even though Spring Break conjures images of the beach, tons of students descend on NYC for their hard-earned vacation. That’s why this is the perfect time to talk about the fun, student-centric shows playing on Broadway. So if you’re planning a trip (even if it’s for next year), make your Spring Break amazing with these hot picks!

Be More Chill
Before landing on Broadway, Be More Chill had already taken the internet by storm during its Off-Broadway run, amassing millions of fans from literally all around the world. Follow one student on his quest for popularity in this retro sci-fi musical. Regardless if you identify as a loser, geek, or whatever, this show proves there’s never been a better time in history to be yourself.

Dear Evan Hansen
If you haven’t been found at Dear Evan Hansen yet, then what are you waiting for? This well deserving winner of six Tony Awards® is the deeply personal and profoundly contemporary musical about life and the way we live it. And now you can see 16-year-old Jimmy Award winner Andrew Barth Feldman in the starring role of Evan Hansen! An emotionally resonating musical like no other, Dear Evan Hansen has remained in the hearts and minds of audiences everywhere.

Mean Girls
This show has something for everyone, whether you’re a diehard fan of the original movie or a casual theatregoer. Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but that was a cake walk compared to the most ferocious environment of all… high school. You’ll be smitten with this story about what it means to be a true friend, a worthy nemesis, and most importantly, a human being. If you see the show on a Wednesday, make sure you wear pink, lest you find yourself in the dreaded Burn Book.

The Prom
We know prom season is still a few months from now, but that’s no reason not to see The Prom now. Get ready to find out what happens when four stars leave the bright lights of Broadway and take leading roles in a small-town controversy making national headlines: an Indiana high schooler barred from attending her own prom because she just wanted to bring her girlfriend. This uproariously funny, flashy new musical is about inspiring people to accept their differences and being the star you were always meant to be.

We know a night out on Broadway can seem a little pricey, but all the above shows have fabulous student pricing, with some starting at just $39! So don’t let your Spring Break be a snoozefest. Visit any of the show pages below to book your tickets now.
