The Singer and The Musician

This workshop explores the collaboration of the orchestra and the vocal performer. A Broadway conductor and actor discuss the intricacies of the musical, how they work together to produce something magical, and how to maintain consistency in an eight-show week. Both professionals will discuss the use of sound and how it has changed the Broadway musical. Topics covered range from rehearsing, performing, and maintenance to what is expected of a professional in the musical theatre.
