It may be the start of the Fall season, but we're getting prepared to be swept away to the Caribbeans with Tony Award® winner Lea Salonga's return to Broadway in Once On This Island!
Once On This Island is the tale of Ti Moune, a fearless peasant girl who falls in love with a wealthy boy from the other side of the island. When their divided cultures keep them apart, Ti Moune is guided by the powerful island gods on a remarkable quest to reunite with the man who has captured her heart. Ms. Salonga is joined by a stellar cast, including Alex Newell from Glee, Merle Dandridge from Greenleaf and Queintin Earl Darrington from Cats.
The production, led by Tony Award®-nominated director Michael Arden (Spring Awakening revival), has us eagerly awaiting its first performance in November.
