Video: Why Miss Saigon Matters in 2017

Broadway Inbound

Miss Saigon is finally back on Broadway, and it's as full of drama and passion as ever. In the video below, the creative team behind the original production and today's fresh revival talks about why the themes of Miss Saigon are even more relevant in 2017 than they were in 1989. "All the things that are inside the story of Miss Saigon are contemporary problems," says mega-producer Cameron Mackintosh. The creators also talk about how they found their star Eva Noblezada in a New York high school: "You think that lightning doesn't strike twice, and in fact, sometimes it does."
