Video: The Anatomy of a Dance, Mozartiana

Video

The New York City Ballet is one of the world's foremost dance companies, and Maria Kowroski had to wait her turn to dance the coveted lead role in George Balanchine's Mozartiana.

In this new video, Kowroski takes you inside the dance, breaking it down, pointing out moments shared between her and her partner, and explaining what makes this role—often danced by the company's most senior ballerina—so special.

Performances begin January 23, 2019. Watch the video, then click the show page link to book your tickets and experience Mozartiana for yourself.
