Video: Meet the Met Opera’s Cinderella and Prince Charming

Video

Continuing a treasured holiday tradition, the Met Opera presents a new installment in its series of abridged opera adaptations for family audiences.

Exclusively for the holiday season (so get tickets while you can!) Laurent Pelly’s storybook staging of Massenet’s Cendrillon is presented as Cinderella, with an all-new English translation in an abridged 90 minutes, with mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard as its rags-to-riches princess and Emily D’Angelo as Prince Charming. Check out an interview with the two in the video below, and get your group tickets to see Cinderella by visiting the show page at the bottom.
