Every family has their own specific issues and baggage, and no two families' stories are exactly alike. Yet somehow, by communicating the intensely personal story of Alison Bechdel's memoir Fun Home, the specific is made universal. Even though it's only the story of one particular family, everyone who sees Fun Home can find something relatable about it. This ability must come from the all-star creative team behind the 2015 Tony Award-winner for Best Play.
