Costume designer William Ivey Long is a veritable legend in the theatre community. He's designed for scores of Broadway shows, earning fifteen Tony Award nominations and six wins along the way. After more than twenty years on Broadway, the looks he created for Chicago are nothing short of iconic. And while you probably recognize those sultry slips, you might not know the story behind it.
