Andrew Lloyd Webber, the so-called King of Broadway, has the rare distinction of having three shows playing simultaneously on Broadway. He wrote the music for the long-running smash hits The Phantom of the Opera and Cats, and he recently returned to his rock roots with School of Rock. (He'll have a fourth show playing this spring, when Glenn Close returns to Broadway in Sunset Boulevard.)
To celebrate the composer's large body of work, the current casts from his three Broadway musicals took to the stage of the Winter Garden Theatre in a mashup for the ages. In the video below, watch musical theatre magic happen as Grizabella meets Christine and the Phantom meets Ned Schneebly.
