Lana Gordon, who first joined the cast of the Tony-winning Hadestown in February 2022, will return to the role of Persephone in the hit musical next month.
Gordon, who will begin performances at the Walter Kerr Theatre June 3, will succeed Merle Dandridge, who will take her final bow in the production June 1.
Gordon, who made her Broadway debut as an original cast member in The Lion King, has also appeared on Broadway in Chicago and Jesus Christ Superstar, as well as the European tours of West Side Story and Hair.
