Broadway veteran Krysta Rodriguez will play Roxie Hart in the long-running Broadway revival of Chicago at the Ambassador Theatre. She begins performances on Monday, June 15.
Rodriguez was most recently seen on Broadway in Smash, playing the writer Tracy. She has also appeared in the Broadway revival of Into the Woods, the revival of Spring Awakening, and First Date.
With a score by John Kander and Fred Ebb, and a book by Ebb and original director Bob Fosse, Chicago is the infamous tale of two killers who use publicity and a slick lawyer to get off the hook.
