Broadway's first a cappella musical, In Transit, begins previews tonight, November 10, 2016. The musical features a book, music, and lyrics by Academy Award winner Kristen Anderson-Lopez (Frozen), with a cappella vocal arrangements by Deke Sharon (Pitch Perfect). In Transit is directed by three-time Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall (Anything Goes, Nice Work If You Can Get It). In Transit will play Circle in the Square Theatre, with an opening night scheduled for Sunday, December 11, 2016.

The cast stars American Idol's Justin Guarini, who was previously seen in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, alongside Telly Leung, who was last seen on Broadway in Allegiance. Erin Mackey (Amazing Grace), James Snyder (If/Then), Moya Angela (America's Got Talent) are also featured in the cast. Other cast members include David Abeles (Once), Margo Seibert (Rocky), Nicholas Ward (On The Town), Laurel Harris (Beautiful), and Arbender Robinson (Shuffle Along), with Steven "HeaveN" Cantor, Gerianne Perez, Chesney Snow, Mariand Torres, Adam Bashian, and Aurelia Williams making their Broadway debuts.

According to the producers, the show "follows the intertwined lives of 11 New Yorkers faced with the challenges of city life.  With a groundbreaking a cappella score by a team including the creators of Pitch Perfect and Frozen, In Transit takes you on a journey with people hoping to catch the express train to their dreams—including the stops they make along the way. Modern yet timeless, In Transit is a story about all of us, set to music that will stay with you long after the ride is over."
