The Metropolitan Opera
The 2025–26 season opens in September with the company premiere of Mason Bates’s The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay, based on Michael Chabon’s Pulitzer Prize–winning novel. The thrilling lineup also features new productions of Bellini’s I Puritani and La Sonnambula, as well as revivals of beloved classics like Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, La Bohème, and Turandot, Bizet’s Carmen, the Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess, and the holiday presentation of Mozart’s The Magic Flute.
