Stage and screen alum Chris Diamantopoulos will step into Broadway’s Waitress as Dr. Pomatter. He’ll begin performances March 31, taking over for the production’s original leading man, Drew Gehling.
Also joining the cast that day is the musical’s composer, Grammy and Tony Award nominee Sara Bareilles. The singer-songwriter assumes the role of Jenna from Tony winner Jessie Mueller.
