Here at Broadway Inbound, we proudly know a thing or two about Broadway. We’re frequently asked what shows we’d personally recommend and what we like to do around the city. We thought we’d take you behind the scenes on what our perfect Broadway day would look like! Check out Devyn’s day below, and tell us about your perfect Broadway day over on our Facebook page.
My perfect Broadway day would start with a relaxing morning in my neighborhood before taking the subway downtown to Chelsea. After grabbing a smoothie from a local smoothie shop, I would stroll to Chelsea Market.
Chelsea Market (75 9th Ave) is a great place to go for all your one-stop-shopping. There are so many stores and food options that it’s easy to spend hours here. One of my favorite places in Chelsea Market is Artist and Fleas, a retail space with constantly changing artists and merchants. It’s a great place to slowly browse through the booths and pick up any gifts for others or items for yourself.

After walking north to the Theatre District, I would have certainly worked up an appetite, so I would get an earlier dinner at B-Squared (679 9th Ave). B-Squared not only has some of my favorite pizza and pasta in the city, but it’s also a great place to try some of their signature cocktails and catch up with friends before seeing a Broadway show. I recommend The Becky pizza with Roasted Broccolini or Burrata for as an appetizer the table to share.

Although Mean Girls is a fun show with upbeat songs and high-energy choreography, the underlying message of lifting each other up instead of tearing others down will pull at your heartstrings. I leave the theatre full of joy to get on the subway and go home.
