True razzle and dazzle are back on Broadway. The entire cast is phenomenal and there are not enough words to describe the experience of seeing Bette Midler as Dolly Levi. This is a role that is meant to be hers. Some people will wish they had seen her, and some people will say, "I was there!
Our group thought the show was amazing. Our group was diverse in age and also in experience with having seen or heard Hello, Dolly! before. It's sure a treat for all. The production values are top rate. A true Broadway experience, and the cast was stellar.
I see a lot of theatre, and this show was one of my all-time favorites. Bette Midler gives a performance for the ages. The costumes, the choreography, and the performances are uniformly excellent. When you leave the theatre, you'll be smiling for days to come!
