Cats

This production of Cats is closed, but you can still see a show. See what's playing and book group tickets for your next Broadway show.

Ever since its first performance in May 1981, Cats has been enthralling audiences around the world and has become one of the most successful shows ever created. Now this worldwide phenomenon is making its triumphant return to Broadway!

Based on T. S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, the show is set amongst a larger-than-life junkyard playground and is alive with feline characters, who’ve come out to play on one special night of the year—the night of the “Jellicle Ball.” One by one they tell their stories for the amusement their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the Cats to ascend to “The Heaviside Layer” and be reborn into a whole new life.

Featuring music by the legendary Andrew Lloyd Webber, including the hit song “Memory,” this new production of Cats is a Broadway must-see. Book your groups right away!

We were extremely excited when we heard Cats was back. We were blown away with the design of the theatre, the costumes, and the actors. We even got the chance to step on stage and take photos during intermission! I highly recommend this show to all ages. It's a MUST SEE!

I had never seen Cats before, and I don't think I knew any of the songs aside from "Memory." After seeing Cats on Broadway, now I get what all the fuss was about! This musical is so fun and entertaining! I loved the dancing, and all of the music is catchy and fun.

Cats was the first musical I ever went to, back when I was 12 years old in he 80s. Now it's back on Broadway, and I was able to take my kids to see it! It was such a great experience watching their faces light up during the opening number.
