The cast and creators of the new hit musical A Bronx Tale stopped by TODAY to talk about bringing the show to Broadway. Robert De Niro, who starred in the 1993 film, spoke about what it was like to co-direct this show with Broadway legend Jerry Zaks: "He's been doing the heavy lifting," he said. Chazz Palminteri, who wrote the original one-man show and starred in the film, spoke about the first time he met Robert De Niro. After the interview, the cast of the musical performed an excerpt of the thrilling opening number "Belmont Avenue."
