Westchester County Airport was the stage, Million Air was the host and the cast of Chicago provided the eye candy at a photography shoot for the 20th anniversary of the revival of the iconic Broadway musical, complete with original cast members Bebe Neuwirth, Ann Reinking, Joel Grey, and James Naughton, who braved a chilly November afternoon on Wednesday to pose on the tarmac with a vintage plane.
The show takes its place in history by becoming the longest running American musical on the Great White Way next to The Phantom of the Opera.
“It’s sexy and fun and moving,” said Bebe Neuwirth who played murderess Velma Kelly in the 1996 cast. “It’s an incredible piece of theater.”
