Avenue Q Says Donald Trump Is “Only for Now” as Hit Musical Turns 13

When Avenue Q debuted Off-Broadway and subsequently transferred to Broadway's John Golden Theatre, the musical's finale, “Only for Now,” featured the lyrics: “Only for now, sex is only for now, your hair is only for now, George Bush is only for now.” As the Tony-winning production celebrates its 13th anniversary — July 31 at New World Stages — that lyric, which was updated in November 2015, now states, “Donald Trump is only for now.” (Through the years, the lyric has been changed to BP [following the oil spill], Fox News, Justin Bieber, Chick Fil a, Glenn Beck and Prop 8.) ...
