Original Stars of The Book of Mormon Will Reunite for a Special Performance at the 2026 Tony Awards

Playbill News

The original Broadway cast of The Book of Mormon will set the stage on fire (hopefully only figuratively) at the 2026 Tony Awards June 7 at Radio City Music Hall. The entire cast—including Tony winner Nikki M. James and Tony nominees Josh Gad, Andrew Rannells, and Rory O'Malley—will reunite with a special performance celebrating the long-running musical's 15th anniversary on Broadway. And on hand to introduce the performance will be the show's Tony-winning writers Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and Robert Lopez.

The performance is the first to be announced for the Tony Awards outside previously announced performances from this year's nominees for Best Musical and Best Revival of a Musical, an elite group that includes The Lost BoysSchmigadoon!TitaníqueTwo Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York)Cats: The Jellicle BallRagtime, and The Rocky Horror Show...READ MORE
